Gowdara Mallikarjunappa Siddeshwara (born 5 July 1952), known far and wide as G. M. Siddeshwara, is a famous person from Davangere. He has embodied the Davangere constituency later. G.M. Siddeshwara quit as MoS on July 12, 2016. He was MoS for Bulk
organization & Community Initiatives. Prior to this, he was responsible solely for Civil Aviation.

Gowdara Mallikarjunappa Siddeshwara was born in 1952 and he is the winner of the Lok Sabha election from Davangere which is situated in Karnataka District. In 2019, this would remain his contemporary Lok Sabha.

Personal life 5 July 1952, a nobleman was born to Shri G. Mallikarjunappa, his father who was also a politician and was even a member of the Legislative Assembly (Upper House): 2 years from 1996 to 1998, and then 4 years from 1999 to 2003. Born on 5 July 1952, and being raised in a farmer’s family, This noble person has completed his matric examination from SSLC Sri Bheemeshwara Rural High School from 1966 to 1967. He wanted to follow his father’s steps, who was earlier, a farmer and vigorously worked in support for the wellbeing of deprived residents. Both of the father and son combination has been accredited with founding solid groundwork in Davangere, which is a historical place and segregated into 6 administrative areas namely DAVANAGERE, HARIHAR, HONNALI, CHANNAGIRI, HARAPANAHALLI AND JAGALUR beneath the care of Tahsildars which are assembled by two returns segmentations specifically Davanagere and Harapanahalli under the responsibility and control of Associate Representative with center of operations at Davanagere and Harapanhalli in that order. These administrative areas that are to say Davanagere, Harihar, Honnali and Channagiri originate below Davanagere segment plus both of the administrative areas, that is to say, Harapanhalli and Jagalur administrative areas come under Harapanhalli Sub-division.

GM Siddeshwara has been putting into practice, some of the several welfare plans by raising funds at the indigenous intensity for the growth and expansion of the electorate.


 On 25th February 2019, he inaugurated a programme to Foundation stone set up for Construction of New Station Building with an alternative entry at Davangere Railway Station. It was reported to be built at the cost of Rs 13 Crores.



On 27th August 2018, He vigorously took part in the inaugural ceremony of the graduate college at the administration area level at Bengaluru administrative area, davanagere district.

On 14th November 2016, He drove ADARSH Gram Yojana Review conference at ZP Office, which is situated at Davangere.




He himself regimented the consultants allied to the venture, to draw on unwavering investments from the arrangements of central Government for the creation and developing Adarsh Gram Panchayat which was once upon a time, Musoor Gram Panchayat. He sought the help of everyone to throw themselves into it with him and cooperate with him on ground level.


On 14th November 2016 itself, he visited the commemorative of the late Kondajji Basappanavara with Hari Hara administered area’s ex-minister and the former Chief Commissioner of Bharat Scouts and guides, he devotes more time at the dedicatory, worked together with the children and paid homage to the holy memory of the late koṇḍajji basappanavara and the training of emissaries, leaders, rovers and Rangers.

On 26th October 2016, at the taluk of jagaluru, bidarakereralli, he held a meeting regarding the Gram Panchayats.

On 20th October 2016, He attended Janasamparka sabha at a guest house in GIMT College at Davangere.

On March 21st 2019, at Bellam, he visited Tea Lounge and the great Indian café bar to discuss development.

On March 21st, At the South Assembly Constituency's the women’s wing movement took part in the lotus Jyoti program in Davangere District led by him.



Thus, as a career, he functioned as the Secretary of Karnataka state ,Member of Governmental Counselling Board for Bureau of Social Reserve Growth and Associate of the Congressional Group on Economics (2004 to 2009), Associate of Legislative Board on River projects (2009-2010); Associate of Governmental Committee on Economics; and Member of Parliamentary Consultative Committee for the Ministry of Commerce & Industry (March 2010 - May 2014).

He has his own interests – like, Traveling around, Community effort; aiding farmers all the time, making available education for deprived in pastoral zones and development of pastoral zones. His favorite sports include Kabbadi, badminton and volleyball. Understanding through books, watching television, traveling around, taking care of farming botanical garden of his are his favorite pastimes. He has made many donations to poor people; financed numerous properties to the school children of schools and some disadvantaged people.


He has passed his matric exam and been educated at Bheemesamudra Rural Educational Society, Bheemasamudra, Karnataka. Residence Currently he is staying at 166, South Avenue, New Delhi.
